Design Visualization Program
This program is intended
for Architects, Interior Designers, Car Body Designers and Industrial Designers.
It introduces participants to high-end 2D and 3D applications and graphics
software and teaches tricks and techniques on how to produce high quality
professional presentations and architectural walkthroughs. Applicants must have
basic knowledge of computers and Windows based applications.
The program consists of 3
tracks as follows;
COURSE TRACKS:
1.
3D Basics (AI-01) :
Track objective:
This track is an
introduction to computer graphics in general and 3D modelling in particular,
one of its most useful applications is transforming 2D AutoCAD files such as
DWG and DXF into 3D models using simple tracing techniques.
Track topics:
o
Orientation
o
Creating 3D objects
o
Architectural modelling
o
Geometry Modifiers
o
Materials and textures
o
Illumination and characteristics of light
o
Exterior and Interior lighting
o
Cameras and animation
2.
CGI Advanced (AI-02) :
Track objective:
This track builds on the
previous one by going into more advanced ways of modelling complicated objects
as well as using Advanced Lighting (photorealistic and radiosity) and
materials.
Track topics:
o
Animated materials
o
Procedural materials
o
Advanced lighting
o
Camera tracking

Organic and Box Modelling.
3.
Post Production (AI-03) :
Track objective:
This track will
focus on high-end multi-media presentations for architectural digital contents,
previously created through CAD and other 3D modeling software.
The track’s main
goal is to allow architects and interior designers to present their work using
the latest available technology, affecting two major aspects in the field of
architectural presentation:
·
Achieving maximum project exploration
·
Impressing the audience
